Alisyn Facemire is Director of Clinical Operations at LENZ Therapeutics and brings her over 23 years of experience and in-depth knowledge of the ophthalmic field to ensure our clinical trials are executed successfully, effectively, and efficiently. Having a 14-year  history with working within clinical research, she is an essential team member that ensures the success of our clinical trials as we bring our products to market.

Prior to joining LENZ, Alisyn was Global Manager of Clinical Services, Medical Affairs and Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, where she developed and implemented a global training and certification program for Refractive lasers. She also was liaison with the medical director to manage and organize patient clinical analysis processes and work with cross-functional divisions to train, educate, execute, and analyze clinical trial data for global clinical trials. Prior to Johnson & Johnson, Mrs. Facemire was Clinical Development Manager at Abbot/Advanced Medical Optics where she was the primary clinical contact for customers for various regions. Prior to joining Abbot, she was a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant ( JCAHPO COA), cataract surgery coordinator and laser system operator at First Colonial Eye Center in Virginia Beach, VA. Mrs. Facemire has a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from The Ohio State University.
